  • Tonyo Cruz · 8 months ago
This is a good taxpayer-funded project which should benefit students, teachers, researchers and others interested in Philippine materials and resources that may be found in our libraries.

This is exciting news! Although I personally feel that having an online library is a long overdue project, I am glad that at least, it has pushed through.

this is a great idea. An online resource where college students and academicians can access even at home. Sana nung student pa ako meron ng ganito.

My own significant and growing Filipiniana library in my condo
in Bonifacio Global City is freely available for serious readers.
I do buy duplicate out-of-print and books to fill in gaps.
    Salamat,
    Mario Feir

  • aidamhontiveros · 4 months ago
Since we are in the province, it is very helpful checking the availability of needed resources before going to Manila for related studies and literature.

have you tried e-lib? does it work? how can i download anything from it? do i have to pay?
the site is not user friendly. faq section is not organized and doesn't contain relevant info. it's not for everybody

I have search Philippine Digital Library in google and found Filipiniana.net and Gosh! its Free!. This is another alternative site to conduct our research..I just wonder why elib don't follow this model. Anyway, this is taxpayers money..
