I read Sophie Kinsella's Confessions of a Shopaholic a couple of years ago and I would love to see it on the big screen. I hope I win :)

I've been looking forward to watching this film on the BIG screen since I've read ALL of Sophie Kinsella's books. Yes, even her non-Shopaholic series. =) It's always a blast and somewhat like a 'sweet escape' to get drowned in Sophie's novels, especially the Shopaholic series.
And while everyone's went ga-ga over the movie "Twilight" last year, I, on the other hand was itching to catch Sophie Kinsella's film version of her best selling novel --- "CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC" --- the book series which I've followed (and laughed with) for 6(?) years! :-)
It would be interesting to see the perky Rebecca Bloomwood 'in the flesh' with her 'shopaholic-craziness' through this film. I can't wait!
However, I wish the movie would give justice to the novel since the film backdrop is set in NYC when in the book, the setting is in London. I just hope that the Becky Bloomwood 'I know' in the novel, would have the same wit, personality and impact in the movie.
To Digital Manila, THANK YOU for this promo. And to Azrael for posting this link on his blog. =)

I loved the series -- kind of cathartic in a way. Sophie Kinsella actually reminded me of Meg Cabot! Good luck to the winner if ever! :)

Just an advice, the contest is not about commenting on THIS post. Neither it should be about Confessions of a Shopaholic, BUT on Benjamin Button and Gran Torino movie reviews whose links are indicated above. Please click on them above and comment on the pages of those 2 article post. =)
5pts for each of everyone's first comment on each review. Participants can get a maximum of 10 points IN TOTAL for posting in both review articles.
For this, I'm extending the contest time to until 10pm and announcing it by 10:05pm tonight.
